Fresh Start Sports & Mentoring, Inc. is a Chicago based company that was founded in 1995 by Kenneth Rogers. FSSM, Inc was originally designed to assist Chicago area high school football players to achieving their athletic and academic goals but we have grown immensely.

It is our goal to not only help those who want to improve their level of play, but to also reach their highest potential. FSSM’s formula is to thoroughly analyze the student’s stages of athletic development to ensure proper collegiate placement. To date, FSSM, Inc. has assisted more than 142 athletes around the country.

About Coach Kenny Rogers —IBFP certified

Coach Ken is an expert at helping student athletes to matriculate to The collegiate level. Kenny began his career as a 4-year All Conference running back at Northside High School in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
There he achieved All -State and All -American status in both his junior and senior seasons.

Kenny went on to receive a full athletic scholarship to Mississippi State where he excelled academically and athletically. Kenny was an 4 year letterman and received his BA in Business Administration with a focus on Health and Fitness. After graduating, he played for the United States Football League (USFL) and the Miami Dolphins of the National Football
League (NFL).

Kenny has since been investing his time in helping others. Kenny is also involved in numerous organizations designed to help foster the integrity, dedication, and motivation for youth. Some include “Reach Out to Kids”, “National Youth Initiative”, “Fellowship of Christian Athletes”, and “Block Programs for Youth.”
